Do the Age of the Universe and the Hubble Constant Depend on What Scale One Observes Them ?

چکیده

The apparent cosmological conflict between the age of the Universe, predicted in the standard Friedman cosmology by using the recent measurement of the larger Hubble constant from a direct calibration of the distance to the Virgo galaxy cluster, and the ages of the oldest stars and globular clusters is resolved by invoking the scale dependence of cosmological quantities, including the age of the Universe. The distance dependence or the running of cosmological quantities is motivated by the asymptotically-free higherderivative quantum gravity. The running can also be derived by “properly” modifying the Friedman equations. This property can also provide partial explanation of the apparent disagreement between the two recent measurements of the Hubble constant using NGC 4571 at 15 Mpc and NGC 5253 at 4 Mpc. A Comparative Study of Rumi's and Rumi's Mystical Thoughts on the Complete Man relying on Masnavi and Foucault

Human is the god’s caliph on earth and moving toward perfection is the most important feature of him. Attention to the perfect man and its recognition is one of the subjects that have considered by various religions. The perfect man in mysticism is like a mirror that has two faces: divine names and attributes manifest on one of the faces and the infallible god observes itself on it and on the o...

The Hubble Constant and Dark Energy from Cosmological Distance Measures

We study how the determination of the Hubble constant from cosmological distance measures is affected by models of dark energy and vice versa. For this purpose, constraints on the Hubble constant and dark energy are investigated using the cosmological observations of cosmic microwave background, baryon acoustic oscillations and type Ia suprenovae. When one investigates dark energy, the Hubble c...

On the Measurement of the Hubble Constant in a Local Low-density Universe

Astrophysical observations indicate that the \Local Universe" has a relatively lower matter density ( 0) than the predictions of the standard in ation cosmology and the large-scale motions of galaxies which provide a mean mass density to be very close to unity. In such a local underdense region the Hubble expansion may not be representative of the global behaviour. Utilizing an underdense spher...

2 Probability Distribution of the Hubble Constant

We present a method to compute the probability distribution function of the (true) Hubble constant and the age of the universe, given the estimate of the Hubble constant in our nearby galaxy samples. Our method takes into account both the observational errors and the cosmic variance, and enables to quantitatively compute the constraints on the cosmological models. Based on the present local obs...

This study aims at investigating the relationship between age and gender of auditors and their judgment and decision. Population of this study includes dependent auditors engaged in audit firms member of Iranian Association of Certified Public Accountants (IACPA). Random sampling was used and the questionnaireswere distributed among 100 auditors. The methodology of the study is descriptive-surv...
